Ramaco Resources reports Q3 EPS 0c ex-items, consensus (2c)

Reports Q3 revenue $167.4M vs. $187.0M last year. Q3 EPS results exclude the one-time closure of the Company’s Knox Creek Jawbone mine. Randall Atkins, Ramaco Resources (METC)’ Chairman and CEO, commented, “The story backdrop behind Ramaco’s and the entire met coal industry’s results this year is directly tied to the continuing export of China’s overproduction of steel, both to the developed and developing world. This has led world steel companies to both cut back on their own production and to reduce the price they are willing to pay for their met coal feedstock.”
