President Trump has withdrawn his nomination of Fiserv (FI) CEO Frank Bisignano as Commissioner of Social Security Administration, according to a communication of the proceedings posted to the Congress website. The Senate has acknowledged it “received message of withdrawal of nomination from the President.” On Thursday, Fiserv had announced the appointment of Michael Lyons as president and CEO-elect of Fiserv, effective January 27. Lyons was to report to Frank Bisignano, who was said to continue in his current roles as chairman and CEO until June 30, or upon an earlier confirmation by the U.S. Senate as the Commissioner, Social Security Administration.
