Mizuho analyst Nitin Kumar assumed coverage of Pioneer Natural with a Buy rating and $294 price target. He is constructive as he expects Pioneer to improve capital efficiencies as it focuses on higher return projects in 2023. This should refocus investors on the strong cash return program complemented by "one of the largest reserve bases in U.S. shale," the analyst argues.
