An Asian American businesswoman is suing PayPal (PYPL), claiming that the company engage din racial bias for restricting part of a $535M investment program to Black and Hispanic applicants, costing her millions of dollars, Reuters’ Jonathan Stempel reports. The complaint, filed by Nisha Desai along with her venture capital firm Andav Capital, is part of growing efforts among some conservatives to cull DEI initiatives in corporate America, the author notes.
