Elbit’s Tzur drone, equipped with ParaZero’s (PRZO) DropAir System, begins a pilot program in Gaza. The drone can deliver 5-6 transfusions in minutes, cutting the critical time needed to save lives. The Israeli Ministry of Defense is in the final stages of developing drones designed to deliver blood for emergency transfusions by IDF medics in the field. A pilot program is set to launch with a brigade operating in Gaza during the ceasefire and will remain in use if hostilities resume. The Ministry’s Directorate of Defense, Research & Development selected Elbit Systems’ (ESLT) Tzur drone for this mission. The Tzur carries specially designed packages equipped with ParaZero’s parachute system and unique precision airdrop mechanism.
