Palantir Technologies’ success earned it a spot in the S&P 500 index -and that could be the cue for investors who don’t yet believe in the stock to start buying, especially if the shares continue to get hit by market concerns, Jacob Sonenshine writes in this week’s edition of Barron’s. For anyone who bought the stock a few months ago, Palantir’s addition to the S&P 500 isn’t a reason to sell. It’s a reason to hang on and enjoy the ride, the author says.
