Software firm Palantir, with a 36B valuation, is seeing a slowdown in U.S. government contracts as agencies have found “less expensive” and more flexible alternatives elsewhere, writes Heather Somerville of the Wall Street Journal. “Government agencies are changing the way in which they work with Palantir…They don’t want to put all their eggs in one basket because Palantir is expensive,” said Rishi Jaluria, a software analyst at RBC Capital Markets, according to the WSJ story.
