Mizuho analyst Gregg Moskowitz raised the firm’s price target on Palantir (PLTR) to $80 from $44 and keeps an Underperform rating on the shares. The company last night reported an “excellent” Q4, driven by acceleration in U.S. commercial and U.S. government, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says management guided to “strong” 36% revenue growth for Q1 while the initial 2025 revenue guidance of 31% year-over-year was also well above estimates. Mizuho is We “very impressed by these results” and says there’s no denying that Palantir is deserving of a premium valuation. “However, valuation cannot and should not be irrelevant, and we find it exceedingly difficult to justify PLTR’s multiple that in our view already discounts significant further acceleration and upside versus consensus expectations,” the firm contends.
