Oracle-backed Ampere Computing has been working with a financial advisor over the past few months regarding a potential sale, Bloomberg’s Ian King, Ryan Gould, and Liana Baker report, citing people familiar with the matter. Ampere is said to be open to talks with a larger industry player on a potantial transaction, the report states, also indicating that the talks suggest that Ampere does not see an easy path toward an IPO.
