Nvidia sees DeepSeek as newer opportunity catalyst, says Citi

Citi analyst Atif Malik says that according to a statement given to Bloomberg, Nvidia (NVDA) views DeepSeek’s latest models as an “excellent AI advancement.” The company sees DeepSeek’s innovation as the catalyst of a newer opportunity around inference which Nvidia believes requires a large number of its graphics processing units and high-performance networking products, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm keeps a Buy rating on Nvidia with a $175 price target
