Nuscale ‘missing out’ on UK proposed small modular reactor program, WNN says

Great British Nuclear, the arms-length body set up to oversee the United Kingdom’s plans for new nuclear power, initially shortlisted six companies last year, but in a short statement on Thursday, GBN said it had now concluded the initial tender phase of the technology selection process and selected GE Hitachi, Holtec, Rolls-Royce SMR and Westinghouse, with NuScale (SMR) – which had put forward the VOYGR SMR – not going through, according to World Nuclear News.
