Thursday’s total option volume of 50.2 million contracts resulted in net open interest growth of 4.32 million calls and 3.93 million puts. Tesla (TSLA), Marathon Patent Group (MARA), NVIDIA (NVDA) and Bank of America (BAC) saw the greatest growth. Top five new positions opened include 40k Medical Properties Trust (MPW) 2/23 weekly 2.5 puts, 35k Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) 2/9 weekly 9 puts, 21k Marvell (MRVL) Apr-24 65 calls, 21k Palantir Technologies (PLTR) Jan-24 20 calls and 21k Banco Bradesco (BBD) Jan-25 3.5 puts.
