Tokyo-based video game developer Monolith Soft, which makes the “Xenoblade” franchise of games, is now 100% owned by Nintendo (NTDOY), Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips reports. Initially, Nintendo purchased 80% of the studio from Bandai Namco (NCBDY) in 2007, then increased its interest to 96% in 2011, and has recently boosted its ownership to 100%, the author notes.
