Netflix (NFLX) is reworking its tech deal with Microsoft (MSFT) for its ad tier to reduce the revenue guarantee and has discussed selling ads through other partners, The Wall Street Journal’s Suzanne Vranica, Jessica Toonkel, and Patience Haggin report. Some Netflix executives have been frustrated that Microsoft hasn’t sold more ad inventory, some people familiar with the matter say.
