MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson and is the internet’s most-followed and highest-earning content creator, is part of a group of American investors assembled by Jesse Tinsley vying to buy TikTok’s U.S. business before a possible ban, Alexandra Levine of Bloomberg reports. Tinsley, the founder of Employer.com, has submitted an all-cash bid with Donaldson and other “institutional investors and high net worth individuals,” a spokesperson for the group said. Companies in the social media space that compete with TikTok include Meta (META), Alphabet’s (GOOG) YouTube (GOOGL), Pinterest (PINS), Reddit (RDDT) and Snap (SNAP).
