Moderna awarded $590M by U.S. for bird flu vaccine development, Reuters reports

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded Moderna (MRNA) $590M to “advance the late-stage development of its mRNA bird flu vaccine,” as the country increases its efforts to deal with increasing bird flu infections in humans, Reuters reported, citing a company spokesperson.
