Microsoft (MSFT) is shutting down Skype in May, with users encouraged to switch to using Teams for calls and chats, XDA’s Rich Woods reports. The publication verified that there is a message instead of the latest Skype for Windows preview that says, “Starting in May, Skype will no longer be available. Continue your calls and chats in Teams.” Skype was launched in 2003 and was acquired by Microsoft in 2011.
