Following the firm’s most recent CIO Survey, which “yielded a positive read on Software spending intentions, Morgan Stanley tells investors that Microsoft (MSFT) maintains its lead as the number one share gainer of IT wallet as a result of a shift to the cloud on both a one-year and three-year view. Microsoft “remains in the GenAI pole position” and initial AI Agent plans reflect a strong Microsoft positioning that is “not yet in shares,” added the analyst, who maintains an Overweight rating and $548 price target on Microsoft shares.
