MFA Financial price target raised to $14 from $13 at Wedbush

Wedbush analyst Jay McCanless raised the firm’s price target on MFA Financial to $14 from $13 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. MFA reported distributable earnings that were above the firm’s and consensus estimates, and book value was flat sequentially, despite the rate volatility seen in the quarter, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Wedbush anticipates that distributable earnings could see some volatility in coming quarters, but sees continued dividend coverage at the current level.
