Truist raised the firm’s price target on Meta Platforms (META) to $770 from $700 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm is constructive on the stock following stronger Q4 results and a bullish 2025 outlook despite a softer Q1 guide on FX headwinds and tougher comps, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The bullish outlook reflects on-going improvements in ad performance from AI-driven recommendation and ranking algos fueling higher ad conversion and pricing, the upcoming launch of Llama 4 that should power a growing roster of capabilities across Meta AI, commerce, and services, and Meta’s sustained user growth and engagement built around its extensive family of apps, the firm added.
