Citi analyst Jon Tower raised the firm’s price target on McDonald’s to $310 from $280 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst does not see a clear case to own the shares into the investor day. To the extent a same-store-sales update comes in better than feared, tough compares ahead could still limit the follow-through on a near-term trade, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
