Materion appoints Jason Moore as president, Precision Optics

Materion Corporation announced the appointment of Jason Moore as President of Precision Optics. In this role, Jason will lead the Precision Optics business segment, which produces customized optical and thin-film coatings and components that enable advances across several megatrend-aligned industries including space and defense, life sciences, industrial, semiconductor and automotive. Moore joined Materion in August and reports directly to Jugal Vijayvargiya, Materion President and CEO. Moore most recently served as Vice President and General Manager, Industrial Business Unit for TE Connectivity. Moore succeeds the former President of Precision Optics, Dr. Ian Tribick, who retired from Materion effective August 31.
