As China’s President Xi Jinping visits the US, Macquarie analyst Tim Nollen wonders “what thawed tensions” might do for the media companies the firm covers. The analyst sees Disney (DIS), Trade Desk (TTD) and Unity (U) as potential beneficiaries of the thawing tensions. The firm says China companies could reciprocate in the U.S. It believes Disney may be the best positioned to grow in China given its long history of doing business there.
