List of contenders to succeed JPMorgan’s Dimon narrowing, NY Times reports

The list of contenders to eventually succeed Jamie Dimon at the helm of JPMorgan (JPM) is narrowing after the announcement that Jennifer Piepszak will become COO and succeed Daniel Pino, who will retire, The New York Times’ Rob Copeland reports. After the announcement, Piepszak said she had notified JPMorgan she would not seek the CEO job in the near future. Though Dimon plans to remain at the bank for years to come, several executives remain in the running for the CEO role eventually, including Marianne Lake, who now runs JPMorgan’s consumer and community banking Troy Rohrbaugh, a co-head of the investment bank, and Douglas Petno, a co-head of global banking, Copeland writes.
