Kosmos reinstated with a Buy at Jefferies

Jefferies analyst Mark Wilson initiated coverage of Kosmos (KOS) with a Buy rating and $5.60 price target following confirmation that Kosmos does not intend to make a firm offer for Tullow at this time. The investment focus for Kosmos therefore returns to start-up of the Tortue Phase 1 gas development offshore Senegal and Mauritania which is “surely imminent,” the analyst tells investors in a research note.
