Kimberly-Clark reviewing options for outside U.S. tissue unit, Bloomberg says

Kimberly-Clark is working with advisers to review its tissue operations outside North America, which could lead to a sale of part or all of the business, Manuel Baigorri, Dong Cao, Dinesh Nair and Ruth David of Bloomberg report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. A deal could value the business at around $4B, according to some of the people. If Kimberly-Clark decides to pursue any divestments, the units could attract interest from private equity firms as well as rival tissue companies, sources told Bloomberg. Shares of Kimberly-Clark are little changed at $142.45 following the report.
