Citi analyst Thomas Palmer raised the firm’s price target on J.M. Smucker to $139 from $137 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company’s underlying next-12-months’ volume growth is expected to outpace others in the firm’s coverage, and per the management’s guidance, its earnings growth should re-accelerate in FY26 by more than previously anticipated, the analyst tells investors in a research note. J.M. Smucker share price could benefit from both earnings growth and multiple expansion as it trades toward the bottom of the food group on forward year P/E and EV/EBITDA valuation measures, Citi added.
