Intuit admits to MailChimp data breach, NY Post reports

A recent data breach at a marketing email service owned by Intuit is raising concerns about their security protocols at their better known companies, such as TurboTax, Quickbooks, and Credit Karma, Lydia Moynihan of The New York Post reports. Last week, Intuit admitted 133 accounts using the MailChimp site were hacked. Many of these accounts were used by customers who run businesses with potentially hundreds of thousands to millions of emails on their rosters, sources said, according to the Post. Reference Link
