Piper Sandler raised the firm’s price target on Interactive Brokers (IBKR) to $118 from $115 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares ahead of the Q3 report. Equity volumes and volatility slowed again in Q3 but derivatives “remain a bright spot,” the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says sales cycle headwinds should persist for some in the e-finance space. Piper highlights Cboe Global Markets (CBOE) and BGC Group (BGC) as names it likes heading into earnings.
