Insulet opens new manufacturing facility in Malaysia

Insulet hosted a grand opening celebration at its new manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The company said, “The new manufacturing facility will strengthen the Company’s global operational capabilities and supply chain resiliency. Located on the southern end of the Malay Peninsula just north of Singapore, the 400,000-square-foot facility is twice the size of Insulet’s highly automated manufacturing facility in Acton, Massachusetts. Currently, more than 350 full-time Insulet employees work at the new facility with plans to grow to more than 1,000 in the coming years, part of a $200M investment in the area.”
