Indonesia is close to a deal with Apple (AAPL) for an investment plan that could lift the iPhone 16 sales ban in the country, investment minister Rosan Roeslani told Bloomberg, Eddie Spence and Haslinda Amin report. The device was banned in October, with the country alleging Apple failed to comply with domestic manufacturing requirements for smartphones and tablets. “I strongly believe it will resolve very, very soon,” Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Davos on Tuesday. “Hopefully within one or two weeks this issue can be resolved.”
