Adobe won’t propose remedies to fix potential competition concerns related to its deal to buy Figma, so an in-depth investigation of the proposed transaction from EU merger regulators is forthcoming, two people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg’s Samuel Stolton. The potential investigation for the $20B proposed takeover of the design startup adds to growing global scrutiny of the deal dubbed by Adobe’s boss as “transformational,” the author notes.
