Humane in talks with HP, telecoms to sell itself, CNBC reports

Humane, the AI hardware startup founded by former Apple (AAPL) designers, is in talks with HP (HPQ) and others to sell itself, CNBC’s Hayden Field reports, citing a source familiar with the matter. Humane has hired investment Tidal Partners to advise on a potential deal, the source said. When Humane sent the $699 AI Pin to reviewers in April, it was met with a tepid reception, with many calling it untrustworthy and not very useful. The source says Humane is currently in talks with “more than one” telecom company. Last year, Humane raised $100M in funding from companies including Microsoft (MSFT).
