Consumer Christopher Lazazzaro has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Hershey, claiming the company sold dark chocolate that includes harmful levels of lead and cadmium, Reuters’ Jonathan Stempel reports, citing the suit. Lazazzaro said he would not have bought or would have paid less for the Hershey products had the company disclosed their metals content and the move comes two weeks after Consumer Reports released data from testing 28 dark chocolate bars for lead and cadmium.
