DA Davidson analyst Linda Bolton Weiser raised the firm’s price target on Helen of Troy to $71 from $67 but keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Expectations were low heading into the company’s Q2 results, prompting a rally on an earnings beat, even though inventory continued to move up and FY25 free cash flow guidance was lowered, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm adds that while sales declines are getting smaller, there is still not visibility on when or if a regular cadence of low-single digit sales growth will resume, given category sluggishness and the competitive landscape.
