DA Davidson lowered the firm’s price target on Helen of Troy to $139 from $151 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company’s Q4 earnings topped estimates but its FY25 guidance was a miss due to lack of flu season re-orders and systems-related disruption, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Organic sales growth for Helen of Troy is expected to turn positive in Q2 on retail distribution gains, though the firm is cutting its FY25 EPS view by 80c to $8.95 due to macro consumer weakness, loss of a royalty income stream, and strategic investments, the firm added.
