Health insurers Cigna (CI), CVS Health (CVS), Humana (HUM), Centene (CNC) and UnitedHealth (UNH) released details on their government-backed health insurance plans for next year for people aged 65 and above, reported Reuters. The announcements come ahead of the beginning of enrollment for Medicare Advantage plans on October 15, which will continue through December 7, the report noted. Other publicly traded companies in the healthcare insurance space include Alignment Healthcare (ALHC), Elevance Health (ELV), and Molina Healthcare (MOH). In Tuesday afternoon trading, shares of Alignment are down 17% to $9.85, while those of Humana have fallen about 6% to $298.
