Barclays analyst J. David Anderson lowered the firm’s price target on Halliburton (HAL) to $48 from $54 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. SLB‘s (SLB) narrative “has quickly corrected course, while some cracks are starting to show” in the Halliburton story, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says a weaker than expected North America outlook and “noncommittal 2025 will reverberate through the group.”
