DA Davidson is keeping Guidewire (GWRE) rating at Buy and the price target on the stock at $226 and the while also adding the stock to its “Best-of-Breed Bison” which filters for best in class companies with sustainable moats and favorable risk / reward dynamics. Over the last two decades, Guidewire has generated an impressive roster of P&C insurance carrier customers by replacing legacy and custom-built applications with next-generation automation software applications, and the firm contends that the management is making the right moves to allow the company to remain the long-term leader in the InsureTech space, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
