Index Ventures has turned a $245M investment in Wiz into $4.3B after news of a purchase by Google, Berber Jin of The Wall Street Journal reports. Index Ventures helped fund Wiz, eventually earning a 13% stake in the company. Five years after making its initial investment, this investment skyrocketed when Alphabet’s (GOOGL) (GOOG) Google agreed to buy Wiz for $32B.
