In a regulatory filing, Goldman Sachs (GS) announced that effective February 26, the bank appointed KC McClure as an independent member of the Registrant’s Board of Directors. McClure has also been appointed to each of the Goldman’s Audit, Corporate Governance and Nominating, and Risk Committees, effective April 1. In addition, John Waldron, President and COO, was appointed as a member of the Goldman’s Board, effective February 26. Waldron is not independent and will not serve on any of the Board’s committees. Waldron will not receive any additional compensation in connection with this Board role, Goldman added.
