CEO David Solomon tells CNBC in an interview that the U.S. economy is in pretty good shape heading into this administration. He said he thinks it’s hard to dispute that equity multiples are high. Solomon said the equity markets exhibit a sense of optimism at the moment. Solomon also told CNBC that he sees a meaningful pick up in deal activity in 2025 and that a rebalancing of certain trade agreements over time can be constructive for U.S. growth. He said policies will have an impact on where rates will go.
