Morgan Stanley raised the firm’s price target on GlobalFoundries (GFS) to $42 from $40 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. Q1 guidance that was below expectations is “a reminder that the pace of fundamental acceleration is likely to remain modest,” says the analyst, who adds that the long term backdrop remains constructive for above-market growth.
