General Dynamics was awarded a $202.73M cost-plus-award-fee contract, for DDG 51 Class Planning Yard. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $1.13B. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2029. FY24 operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $5.99M and FY24 other procurement funds in the amount of $7.22M, will be obligated at time of award, of which $5.99M will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity.
