Fluor awarded $1.4B Navy contract modification

Fluor was awarded a $1.4B cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract to exercise FY25 options for naval nuclear propulsion work at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. FY24 other procurement funding in the amount of $14.98M; FY24 research, development, test and evaluation in the amount of $3.55M and FY22 other procurement funding in the amount of $495,000, will be obligated at time of award and funds in the amount of $495,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity.
