Fisker abandons direct-to-consumer model, shifts to dealerships, WSJ says

Fisker is abandoning its direct-to-consumer sales model after finding the approach too expensive and struggling to get cars to buyers quickly, Sean McLain of The Wall Street Journal reports. Instead, the company plans to use the traditional dealership method and hopes to sing up at least 50 dealerships this year, CEO Henrik Fisker said, according to the Journal.
