Exane BNP Paribas analyst Karl Ackerman upgraded Cisco (CSCO) to Outperform from Neutral with a price target of $72, up from $57. The firm sees “several catalysts ahead” that can drive Cicso’s revenue and earnings growth ahead of expectations. 2025 is the year that ethernet “will start to flourish” in backend artificial intelligence networks, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Exane is “encouraged” to see Cisco’s growing presence at Meta (META) with the 8501 switches that should begin to ramp in volume Q1.
