Meanwhile, there was a resurgence in “Fallout” series sales, with “Fallout 4” comfortably in the top spot in Europe in April amid the popularity of the Amazon Prime (AMZN) adaptation, the author says. On the hardware side, console sales fell 47% year-over-year in April, the author notes. Other publicly traded companies in the video game space include Microsoft (MSFT), Nintendo (NTDOY), Electronic Arts (EA), Take-Two (TTWO), Tencent (TCEHY), and Ubisoft (UBSFY).
