Epic Games adds third party games to its new mobile app, Bloomberg reports

Epic Games announced the addition of third party games to its new mobile app, reports Bloomberg’s Cecilia D’Anastasio. With this move, Epic, developer of the popular Fortnite game, has reignited “a long, costly dispute with Apple (AAPL) and Google (GOOG) over their app-store fees,” noted Bloomberg… The Fly notes that Tim Sweeney: Founder and CEO Tim Sweeney owns about half of Epic Games’ stock. Tencent (TCEHY): The Chinese technology and entertainment company holds about 40% of Epic Games stock. Sony (SONY): has about a 4.9% stake in Epic Games. Kirkbi: The holding company that owns The Lego Group has a 3% interest in Epic Games. and Disney (DIS) invested $1.5B to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games…
