The European Commission said on September 19 that it raided a cardiovascular medical device company in an EU country on concerns that it may have abused its market power in breach of the bloc’s antitrust rules, but did not name the company, noted Reuters, which says the antitrust regulators raided Edwards Lifesciences at one of its EU facilities a week ago, citing two people familiar with the matter. Edwards Lifesciences did not respond to emailed requests for comment, Reuters said.
